Replacement Steel Bonnet – Late Type 2007+ to fit Land Rover Classic Defender This is a replacement steel bonnet for the Land Rover Classic Defender. There were 2 type of bonnet used on the Classic Defender – the early type dips in the middle and the later type (from 2007) has a hump in the middle. This is the later type bonnet with the hump – which is often referred to as the ‘Puma’ type (from the Ford Puma engine that was fitted). This bonnet is made from steel (twin skin construction) as per the original item (early bonnets were made of aluminium and the late bonnets were made from steel). This bonnet and is supplied unpainted, for you to paint into the colour of your choice. There is no hardware/fixings supplied with this item so you’ll need to swap over your existing ones. Hardware/hinges etc are the same on all Defender bonnet types. These spare parts incorporate a third party design and are intended exclusively to be used to repair the vehicle to its original appearance. This is not a genuine Land Rover part.
