Locking Fuel Flap Retro Fit Kit for Land Rover Defender L663 This listing is for a locking fuel flap retro fit kit for the Land Rover Defender L663. Some features of the Defender went missing on later models (sunglass holder/USB ports/locking fuel flap). We have designed and developed this retro fit kit to enable the locking fuel flap feature. The actual locking solenoid is in place on all vehicles so with this kit of electronics you can get the feature working. Our custom designed (UK manufactured) board senses when the vehicle is running ( battery goes to 14v ) and stopped ( battery is 12v ). Once the car is turned off, there is a 10 minute delay and then the fuel flap will lock. Updated: Kit now includes an overide switch. Included in this kit: Solenoid loom & connector blank Power take off loom Electronics board Grommet Custom project box & lid 2x Spare Trim Clips in case of breakage when removing panel 1x Switch The electronics board has been designed by us and is manufactured in the UK. The wiring looms are also custom designed by us for this application. This is not a genuine Land Rover accessory.
