It is important to note that there were 2 types of filler cap used on the Freelander 2 (see photos for reference). This listing is for Type 1 which fits pre-facelift models from 2007 -10. Please see our other listing to purchase Type 2 which was used on the facelift models from 2010 onwards. This is the latest version of this part which is part number LR004112. This is a genuine Land Rover item, brand new in retail packaging. We also sell replacement rubber straps if your strap has perished and you don’t need a complete fuel cap – see part number RFC232-Ring Fitting Details This is a straight replacement part. Which Vehicles will this fit? This WILL FIT the Land Rover Freelander 2 from 2007 -10 (pre-facelift). This WILL NOT FIT the Land Rover Freelander 2 from 2010 onwards (facelift) as a different cap was used – see our other listing to purchase Type 2.
