If your car takes a long time to raise the suspension and then starts giving faults this will be the culprit. This is the compressor that pumps the air to pressure allowing the air suspension to raise and lower etc This unit is located underneath car alongside the chassis on the left hand side of the vehicle. This item can be used as an alternative to Land Rover PN LR023964 You can repair these / clean the drying chamber / replace the piston seals etc but if you replace the whole unit you know you will have not problems for the next 10 years. ( based on the service life of the original units ) This item is brand new Hitachi item ( as originally fitted ) – not reconditioned.
