Central Locking Repair Kit for Rear LH door lock on Land Rover Freelander 2

Genuine Door Lock/Latch Mechanism & Cable Kit Rear Left fits Land Rover Freelander 2 This listing is for a genuine Land Rover replacement door locking mechanism and cable for the Freelander 2. You can use this item if you are experiencing problems with your doors not opening/or central locking not functioning correctly. It is a really common fault on the Freelander 2 – but you can repair it yourself, we’ve done the hard bit for you and worked it out in the below fitting video. This part is for the REAR LEFT (nearside or UK passenger side) door. We also include a genuine Land Rover handle-to-latch replacement cable – it’s worthwhile replacing this at the same time while you have the door apart as they often break. To complete the job, we’ll also include a cable tie to secure the long cable in place when you re-assemble with the new lock (as per factory fitting). This item is the same for LHD and RHD cars. There are lots of cheap alternative door lock assemblies but we’ve decided to just stock the genuine Land Rover ones. Given that there is a little work involved in replacing the lock assembly, we feel it’s just not worth fitting cheap parts that simply do not last. These are brand new and genuine Land Rover parts. These are Land Rover part numbers LR001910 and LR091361 which are the latest version of these parts (there have been several supercessions).
