DRL Controller Board

This listing is for a Daytime Running
Light (DRL) controller board.

Note: This board is suitable for use with
LED bulbs and will not work with halogen.

A DRL controller board will control the
function of DRL lights dependant on certain criteria i.e. dim them when
headlights are on, turn them off when indicators are active, plus a
turn-off timer delay when exiting your vehicle.

We have tried various controller boards but
were never happy with the quality or function, so we specified /
designed one to our own spec!

These boards are made in the UK by our
micro-electronics partner using top quality components.

We usually supply these controller boards
with our ‘2in1 Fog/DRL’ lighting kits, but after many enquiries, we have
made them available for sale separately here.

Regrettably, we can only provide technical
support for these boards if you purchase one of our vehicle specific
‘full lighting kits’ (search FOG945-ORB / FOG923 -ORB).

You can purchase this board for your own
project but please remember we are unable to offer support (but we’re
sure you’ll be alright) – p.s. you can reference our wiring diagram and
videos for guidance.

If you find this board is unsuitable for
your application you can return it for a refund.

We’ll include a section of heat-shrink to
provide some protection after wiring is completed.

The controller board give the following
functions :-

1) Auto turn on when the engine starts – no
need to find an ignition live feed

2) Auto dimming of the DRL’s when the lights
are turned on

3) “follow me home” DRL’s stay on after you
stop the car to provide lighting for your walk to your front door

4) When you indicate the DRL on that side
will go out so as not to obscure your indicator ( option feature if you
connect your indicator feed to the controller ).

This listing is for 1 controller board (
that controls 2 DRLs ) plus a section of heat-shrink.

If you have a Land Rover Discovery 3/4,
Freelander 2 or Range Rover Sport L320 then consider one of our complete
kits which includes lights, wiring loom and controller board.
