The part also comes with a new spring pre-fitted to ensure smooth spring operation. A great replacement for a damaged / worn glasses holder. This kit be used as a repair option or now we have added the black cog to make it a retrofit kit. IMPORTANT NOTE – We have found that this kit works in around 85% of cases. It can be fiddly to install, as you will see from the retrofit videos. There seems to be a variation between vehicles, on some it works straight away whereas others need adjustment. If the holder does not function correctly after fitting, there are a number of options that can be tried to resolve these issues, all options are explained in the retrofit�update video. If you unfortunately fall into the 15% of cases where this install does not function correctly even after trying the adjustments, we can only offer that you return the item for a full refund. We do not have any other technical options to suggest. Please note that if you choose to buy this kit, you are buying it with this understanding.� Included in this kit is: 1x white genuine clip / friction bush to ensure smooth operation of the sunglass holder. 1x black cog which allows you to retrofit the sunglasses holder – please see our video below. 2x stiffening brace insert – we have now added an extra brace to aid fitment. The damper cog is an aftermarket item, while the stiffening brace insert is our own in-house laser cut part. Note – if you have wireless headphones/rear entertainment there may be a module where the sunglass holder is located and this may need to be removed if you want the sunglass holder.
