Glove Box Damper Repair Clip for Land Rover Freelander 2 This is a repair clip for the Land Rover Freelander 2 glovebox damper. A common fault is the clip on the end of the damper breaking, which causes the glovebox to drop open rather than softly fall open. The damper often gets broken when servicing your vehicle as you need to remove the glovebox to access the pollen filter. Unfortunately the only fix is to purchase a new damper which have greatly increased in price (see our part number LR2I902). However… we have engineered a fix – this repair kit replaces the broken clip on the end of the damper. We have designed and engineered this replacement clip and we 3D print them in-house. The clip secures in place with a wing nut rather than a barbed clip which makes future removal/refitting and less prone to breakage. This is a not a genuine Land Rover item.
