LED Rear Number plate light kit lamp for Land Rover Freelander 2 facelift

LED Rear Number Plate Upgrade Kit for Land Rover Freelander 2 with bulbs on Tailgate Loom/Switch Improve the rear number plate lights on your Land Rover Freelander 2 from the standard type to these new LED array type. These will give more light / a much whiter light and use less power than the old bulbs. Please note: The Freelander 2 had changes to the wiring during production (or the tailgate release switch/loom may have been changed). Check if your tailgate release has connectors or bulbs – see photos These often become faded and brittle and have been known to break the clips when you are replacing the bulbs ( we broke one on our demo car when removing the lamp ) If you have a Freelander model with connectors on your tailgate Loom/Switch please see our other listing – LLM137 In this kit you will receive: 2 x LED number plate light assemblies 2 x Electrical connector plugs (compatible with new LED assemblies) 4 x Crimp connectors These light assemblies have an 18 LED array that makes up the light unit & have a 2w output each. These are a straight swap for the standard units although you will need to cut the wires to your old unit and either solder or crimp the new wires to the old wires. No error messages will appear on the dash with these modules ( telling you a bulb has failed ) as there is a circuit added to ensure the car CANbus system does not see any change from the original light. These are not genuine Land Rover parts. Fitting Details You will need to cut the existing plug and fit the new supplied connectors (see photo).
