If you need to access the tailgate lock mechanism for any reason you would have to compromise this self adhesive foam panel which is bonded in place. For example, if you install the manual tailgate release pull handle that we sell (LR3I319) you will need to renew this panel. This panel is the same on the Land Rover Discovery 3 & 4. This panel is made form a high density foam and is self adhesive, so sticks into place. This is a brand new, genuine Land Rover item – part number EOT500013.
