Rear Door Internal Release Switch Kit for Land Rover Defender L663 This listing is for a rear door release kit for the Land Rover Defender L663. This kit will give you an internal switch to open the rear door from the inside of the vehicle. This would be handy if you camp in your Defender ‘overland style’ or want to have an emergency exit route through the rear door. Included in this kit: Tap-In Loom Spring-lever connector Switch and lead This kit includes a custom made plug-and-play tap-in loom, so no alterations to your vehicles wiring are neccessary. NOTE :- Due to supply issues the switch used may change to a similar one with a nut fitting. We also supply you with a spring-lever connector for easy connect/disconnect. Once the tap-in loom is plugged in you just need to connect your switch via the spring lever connector. We also sell the tap-in loom on it’s own if you prefer to source your own switch – see our other listing to purchase. There is no soldering needed to fit this kit – we have pre soldered the switch and put solder on the end of the leads – the only thing you need to do is drill the small hole in the rear door “dish”. This is not a genuine Land Rover accessory.
