The Defender L663 lost some features after it’s inital launch (maybe due to supply issues/cost-down exercise etc) – the rear door soft close was one features to be dropped. This means that early vehicles are fitted with this feature but later models may be missing it. This kit is just for the Powerful UK wiring loom (specially made aftermarket item) plus some other sundries you will need for the project. This kit does not include the actuator/latch/inserts, you can purchase these separately yourself (ideal if you are overseas as you can source from your local Land Rover dealer or maybe you can find used parts from a salvage vehicle).
