2x Rear Light ‘Resistor Looms’ for Land Rover Discovery 3 This is a pair of rear light conversion looms for the Land Rover Discovery 3. These ‘plug and play’ looms will allow you to fit the later Discovery 4 (2010 +) LED rear lights to the earlier Discovery 3 (2005 -09) without generating an error on your dash. When the Discovery 4 was released it had new style lights which were also LED. Although the wiring and plugs are the same between the Discovery 3 & 4 lights, you cannot simply plug LED ones in as your vehicle will think there’s a fault (due to the reduced resistance of the LEDs vs incandescent bulbs). These looms have a resistor fitted so your vehicle does not generate any errors. You will receive a pair of custom made conversion looms. These are not genuine Land Rover items.
