Rear Light Anti-Theft Kit for Freelander 2 This is a rear light anti-theft kit for the Land Rover Freelander 2. Freelander 2 rear light thefts are becoming more commonplace as they can be removed without opening the tailgate! With the later LED rear lights retailing for around 250 each they are easy money for opportunistic thieves. The lights can be removed by inserting a long screwdriver into the gap between the tailgate and the rear light – undo 2 screws and the lights pop out! Fortunately this can be countered by installing this security kit to help prevent theft. Simply replace one of the screws on each light with one of these security screws. Each screw has a torx head so cannont be undone with a philips screwdriver – we also include a screw cap to cover the screw head for extra measure. In this kit you will receive: 2x Torx head security screws 2x Screw caps 1x T25 torx bit These are also ideal to install if you have purchased our Black Edition LED rear lights.
