Replacement Headlight Lens – Early Type – for Land Rover Freelander 2 – LH

Replacement Headlight Lens (Early Type) Left Hand for Land Rover Freelander 2 (2007 -11) This is a replacement lens for the Land Rover Freelander 2 early type headlight (2007 -11). This listing is for the Left-hand side (UK passenger side/nearside). If you have a damaged/cracked headlight you could try and replace the lens rather than the whole assembly. This lens is to fit the early type Freelander 2 headlight which was fitted between 2007 -2011 (see pictures). We also sell the later type replacement lens if you have the facelift headlight with the signature led strip in it – part number HLG158. This lens is made from tough CLEAR polycarbonate. This listing is for the left side only – please see our other listing to purchase the opposite side. We also sell replacement bases to fit these lenses – see our other listing. Note: This is a replacement front lens not a cover – you will need to apply heat to the lamp to soften the adhesive to remove the old lens and then seal/glue the new lens into position. These are not genuine Land Rover parts. Fitting Details We have not done this replacement ourselves yet. The trickiest part is removing the old lens which is bonded into place. With previous headlight upgrades we have had some success by baking the headlight assembly first at a low temp to loosen the bonding material around the old lens. Which Vehicles will this fit ? This item WILL fit Land Rover Freelander 2 pre-facelift with the early type headlight from 2007 to 2011. This item WILL NOT fit the later Land Rover Freelander 2 facelift from 2012 -14 as the shape is slightly different.
