Listed price is indicative only, please contact us for current price and delivery times. This is a motorised throttle valve body for the Land Rover Freelander 2 Diesel. This is a motorised “butterfly” valve that is driven by a motor that drives some gears to close and open the “flap”. The problem is that the gears are plastic and they wear out leading to a strange squealing noise that is most noticible immediately after your trun off the engine – see below video. It is actually quite easy to change this item as its located at the front of the engine – see below video. We also sell the intercooler pipe/hose assembly that fits to this – see our other items.
