Viscous Fan Coupling 2 Piece Tool Kit for Land Rover Discovery 3 & 4 These are the 2 tools need to lock and remove the viscous coupling in position when you want to remove the fan If you want to change the radiator on your Land Rover Discovery 3 or 4 you really need to remove the fan – believe us we have tried to do with the fan in place and its not possible ! You also need these if you are going to change your cam belt. We previously tried using the tools with the little “pawl” on a pin and we broke that! You will get 2 tools as shown in the picture 1) The “clover leaf” tool that is designed to fit over the bolt heads on the viscous fan and hold it still 2) The double ended spanner 32mm and 36mm ( its the 36mm part you need for this job. If you already have a 36mm spanner then we do also sell just the retaining tool on its own – see our other items. But the spanner does need to be quite thin so check you can get the spanner on before you decide just to buy the retaining tool on its own. This can be used as an alternative to Land Rover tool 303 -1143 These tools are made from 6mm thick steel with a clear rust proof coating.
