3 Piece Tool Kit Viscous Fan Coupling to fit Land Rover Discovery 3 (2.7L Diesel TDV6) This is a the tool kit you need to change the drive belt yourself on a Land Rover Discovery 3 complete with a new drive belt. You will also need this if you plan on doing the front timing belt. What this kit includes is: 1) The “clover leaf” tool that is designed to fit over the bolt heads on the viscous fan and hold it still 2) Replacement ancillary drive belt 3) The double ended spanner 32mm and 36mm ( its the 36mm part you need for this job. The 2 tools need to lock and remove the viscous coupling in position when you want to remove the fan If you already have a 36mm spanner then we do also sell just the retaining tool on its own – see our other items. But the spanner does need to be quite thin so check you can get the spanner on before you decide just to buy the retaining tool on its own. This can be used as an alternative to Land Rover tool 303 -1143 Both the spanner & clover leaf tools are made from 6mm thick steel with a clear rust proof coating. These tools also fits the fans on many other Land Rover vehicles and is essential for any workshop working on Land Rovers! These are not genuine Land Rover items. Fitting Details The tool fits over the nuts on the viscous coupling to enable you to hold it still when removing the main 36mm nut from the fan. This item WILL NOT fit the Discovery TDV8 3.0L Diesel models as the belt has a different number of ridges.
