Bonnet & Tailgate Gas Strut Kit for Land Rover Discovery 3&4 This listing is for a set of top quality gas struts for the bonnet and upper tailgate on the Land Rover Discovery 3 & 4. Gas struts are notorious for losing their mojo which can lead to the bonnet/tailgate not staying up or becoming hard to open. Changing your struts is one of those jobs you’ll be glad you did – sometimes you don’t realise how bad they’ve got until you renew them! This strut kit can be used to replace and refresh the 2 struts on the bonnet and 2 struts on the tailgate of the Land Rover Discovery 3 or 4. The tailgate struts are German made Stabilus Lift-O-Mat struts – exactly the same as supplied by Land Rover (they just don’t have the Land Rover logo printed on). The bonnet struts are a quality aftermarket item – do not confuse these with cheaper alternatives. This is a simple DIY project that only takes 10 minutes – we have done a video below to show you how to do it!
