This is a genuine Land Rover misfuel flap
reset tool for the Range Rover Evoque.

If your vehicle is slow to fill with fuel
then check if the misfuel restrictor flap is across the filler neck!

If you try and put petrol in your diesel
vehicle it will engage a yellow restrictor flap to help prevent against
misfueling your vehicle.

The petrol fuel pump nozzles are narrower
than diesel and this is how the flap triggers.

Sometimes the flap can be inadvertently
triggered by using a fuel can etc.

You need this tool to reset the flap – see
our video below for a demo of the reset procedure.

It might be worth checking your vehicle to
see if you have your tool – it’s one of those things that can be easily
lost as many people don’t realise what it’s for!
